February 19, 2004–Designers featured in the show are among the area’s most talented, including: Abdul Kareem Kanu (Alfamina Tailoring) – Abdul Kareem Kanu specializes in custom African and Western garments for men, women and children, Xavier Furs – Xavier International is the youngest and one of three African American Furriers in the USA and is known as the “Furriers to the Stars….”, Paul Koko – Paul Koko specializes in custom designs for an elite clientele base focusing on designs for all occasions – couture, formal, business and casual fashions for men and women, Christopher Williams – Christopher Williams Designs is a high-end luxury brand consisting of individual pieces that caters to women’s day and evening apparel needs for a feeling of relaxed, everyday glamour, Victor Colvin & Egerton McNeil (VMac – The Elements of Fashion) – Vmac specializes in custom designed apparel with urban and upscale clients in mind, Diamond Designs – The Diamond Designs line is a unique array of clothing featuring beaded and timeless fashions with an emphasis on originality and one-of-a-kind creations, specifically designed for each client.
